We’re lucky to have our own urban winery in Cary in addition to a handful of wine markets that carry fine wines from all over the world at a wide range of prices. Newk’s is a fast-casual chain restaurant based in Jackson, Mississippi that specializes in Southern-inspired, made-from-scratch soups, sandwiches, salads and pizzas for lunch and dinner. Brew n’ Que is definitely a “hidden gem.” Located in a small strip mall near the corner of High House Road and Maynard, the restaurant is a place for homemade barbecue and sides made by an owner who really cares about quality.
The King Cake, in a number of countries, is associated with the festival of Epiphany (which marks the coming of the wise men who brought gifts to the Christ Child) at the end of the Christmas season.
The Carolina Panthers are in the Super Bowl, and, without a doubt, area fans will be celebrating Sunday night with themed snacks and parties. I did some research to find easy, tasty Panthers-themed party recipes for loyal fans.
